I have abou 70 hours on the plane now... I can't believe it has been flying for almost a year. Since the first flight my left wing has been a bit heavy. Not bad, but just enough to bug me. I reviewed Van's Bulletin on the heavy wing issues, and I decided to order a couple outside aileron hinges. I figured they were a few dollars so why not. I measured and drilled the outside left aileron hinge holes 1/8" offset from the orginal hinges, this lowered the left aileron... I didn't like the idea of elongating the holes are test flying...
Anyway... after priming and installing... The test flight went perfectly... the plane tracked straight and true hands off, it hand no adverse tendancy in turns, climbs, etc. Ball centered feet flat on the floor...
Word of caution: it takes very little adjustment to remove the heavy wing...
