I took up my first passenger... of course that is my daughter since I could not have done the build without her... My "Rosie" the riveter!
We tested the GNS430w to Skyview interface. The Skyview autopilot coupling to the GNS was perfect. We shot a RNAV 5 approach to Avon Park without VNAV at this point. The autopilot anticipated the turns with such subtlety and smoothness it reminded me of the A320. I can get use to that. We missed the approach and allowed the A/P to fly us to the holdiing pattern.
