Brief Description: A/P Level Button / iLevil Mount
Located and tested the AutoPilot remote level button. Dynon added a feature in version 6 for the skyview system. The ability to have the A/P seek "Straight and Level" on demand. Either by accessing via A/P menu or installing a remote one button push to activate. Of course I believe a "One Button" is a safety feature.
I tested the circuit by momentarily touching it to ground which activated "Straight and Level" I stopped by RadioShack for a momentary push button, and / or I could use a button on the pilot's stick. I believe the button should be readily accessible to the Co-Pilot in case of an emergency.
I also located the iLevil between the seats as pictured in Photo #2... Just Velcro mount. Worked fine as the Ipad indicates is Photo #1. If in the event of a full electrical failure this completely independent setup could save your life. Ipad / iLevil / WingX.
