Took delivery of the Garmin GTR225 COMM... Benach tested the unit and checked basic functionality. Compared the harnesses for both the GTR COMM and the GMA Audio panel. It would be nice if these folks talk to each other, maybe standardize wire color coding etc. Anyway, I temporarily connected / interfaced the GTR with the GMA. The harness included with the GTR is fine, just have to sort things out color wise. White/Orange to White/Blue and such. I am debating on pulling pins and standardizing the wires. We will see... Tested Tx and Rx via my ICOM handheld on the air-to-air freq. Also tested each headset and my speaker setup... All checks out fine.
