Brief Description:  Canopy Tracks / AP Servos

finshed drilled the canopy rails to the fuselage, deburred.
Cleaned and primed the canopy tracks.

Adjusted the canopy locking latch and handle. Driled and installed the spring tensioner.

Played a bit with the Dynon Skyview, upgraded the firmware to 5.1 in the hope it would solve my AP servo issue, but, no luck.

All the wiring is fine, Green/Green, Blue/Blue, etc. ALL harnesses were purchased from Dynon... I removed all the Sub-D hoods, and verified pin outs... and wire match, pin by pin, wire by wire. I made sure to change the Airspeeds after the firmware upgrade... I have since removed the right wing, so my next step is to remove the wing servo, and see if I get the same results. As we speak... Skyview can't see the pitch servo at all... running Force Network / Network Discovery shows only the Skyview and EMS... I was expecting to see the servo and upgrade the servo firmware to 5.1... no luck. At first I thought... most be somethnig I am doing wrong, but after hours of Trouble-shooting / testing and avionics pro's looking at it... It is not the airplane or the test bench.

Update: I removed the AP servo from the right wing, and began the bench testing process. This time the Skyview saw the servo, updated the firmware to 5.1... continured with the calibration process, no problem... Went to test the movement and No Joy... Skyview / Servo failed the test. Time to box everything up, (Again) and ship it to Dynon. I have yet to get a system that works.
I am sure things will work out in the long run... but that does not help me now. Can you believe I am beginning to build redundancy around the Skyview, because I don't trust it, especially in the clouds... My goodness! Seems like something new everyday you turn it on.

A WORD TO THE WISE: THIS IS JUST MY EXPERIENCE... AS AN A&P AND PILOT(ATP) DYNON IS STRUGGLING WITH QUALITY CONTROL OR SOMETHING, I HAVE YET TO GET ANYTHING TO WORK OUT-OF-BOX. TECH SUPPORT IS NOT VERY RESPONSIVE, AND TAKES DAYS TO ANSWER EMAILS, AND BASICALLY JUST ISSUES RMA's...
