I got a surprise from FedEx this morning... Merry Christmas to me!! Unfortunately it seems the SV-D1000 is DOA...!!!
I hooked the SV-D1000 and EMS to my test bench and the boot did not go all that well. Dynon logo came up... nice and pretty, and then everything went to crap. Display became distorted and unreadable, and hung as depicted on photo #2.
So I isolated the SV-D1000... just power and no HUB and no EMS / servos etc. Repeated it on aircraft power, with the same results. Sent Photos to Dynon... lets see what they have to say on Monday... Hopefully they will just send me a new one.
Anyway... Continued by mounting the Skyview Hub. Fabricated a wiring harness for the LED dimmer switch to map lights and terminated, complete. Terminated the pitch servo wiring with DB9 connector.
