Stopped by the hobby store at lunch today. Picked up a 12" 4-40 pushrod and heavy duty metal clevis's. (1) threaded, (1) Solder mount. Cut the pushrod to length and soldered the clevis in place at the bottom mount position. Fabricated the bottom mount, with a few adjustment holes. Ran the flaps to the mind point and clamped the sensor in place, and fine adjusted until everything was running through the full deflection of the flaps. Marked the location of the sensor and drilled the mounting holes.
Note: This is a prototype, and I plan to clean it up a bit for final assembly.
