Received the new F-713 longerons from Van's yesterday. Fillted and match drilled the replacement F-713... Much better!! Fitted and match drilled the F-796C&D spacers for the right side. Fitted and match drilled the F-796B angle.
I also recieved my rotary file set earlier in the week... I decided the fit the forward bottom skin for the 7A landing gear. I also machine filed the forward spar web as required for the landing gear mount. Needs final fitting and smoothing out.
This log entry indicates I have passed 800 hours in the contruction of N721AM (RV-7A) If everything holds true... This would make it about 40% Complete.
