Continued working on the firewall. Primed all the shims and gussets. Riveted the brake line mounting bracket. Revited the boost pump doubler / Platenuts. One of the platenuts did not line up exactly with the 1/4" hole. I had to enlarge the hole to 5/16" to accomidate the bolt. Not prefect, but acceptable, I guess my drill wondered a bit when I drilled the mounting holes.
Lesson learned:
Make sure to have the Platenut in place as drill guide.
With the log entry, I noticed I have passed the 600 hour mark of logged construction time. Slow but sure. June will mark 2 years since I started. For the most part I am on schedule. My goal was to finish around my 50th birthday. that leaves me another 2-1/2 years. We will see... nor here nor there...
