Sometimes you don't realize how much preperation goes into each part, before actual assembly can take place. This is one of those times. Since I am in Florida I decided from the very beginning I would build with corision protection in mind. All the ribs get etched followed by an expoxy primer. All tail structures including internal skins were etched / alodined and expoxy primed prior to assembly. All internal wings skins are scuffed / cleaned and primed with a self-etching primer.
This process takes a lot of time, but I would hope that it adds value and will any issues years down the road.
