Brief Description: Riveted Left Leading Edge to Spar
I began by following Van's instructions... Riveted the Ribs to the Spar with solid rivets. I was able to get to the outer and inner 4 ribs without too much of an issue. That left me the inner 2 ribs, and I have MSP rivets coming from Spruce for these, or so I thought. I then riveted the skin too the spar using my neumatic squeezer... love that tool, rivets looks great and so consistent.
I then looked closely at the inner 2 ribs to spar attachment... I then began by basically folding my hand in half and squeezing it through lightning holes... I actually removed some skin to accomplish this... Once I got my hand in position, to my surprise I had good access and continued to rivet the 2 inner ribs with solid rivets, they turned out very nice... long story short... ALL ribs to spar are SOLID rivets.
