I wanted to get the canopy rails removed tonight but got one done. As you can see while doing the windscreen fairing some tape pulled off the paint on the left side sill for the canopy rail. There is also some on the right that came off also.
So my fix is that I have bought some good 3M flat black wrap and I will wrap the left and right sills with that rather than try to paint again. The wrap is supposed to be pretty durable and fairly easy to install.
After getting the one rail off it was getting late due to a late start tonight....so I tidied up the shop a bit and called it a night.
