Brief Description: Antenna Coax, PIlot Map Light-1
Ran some RG400 coax for the two antennas mounted just aft of the main spar. Added a BNC connection to the cable on the right side. I need another snap bushing before terminating the cable on the left side. One more order for ACS. Next, I started on the pilot’s map light. I borrowed an idea from fellow builder Bill Crissinger—he had a really great solution for mounting the light. I made a template for the cover and transferred the holes to some .032 plate. Match drilled the corners for -6 screws and then cut out the center of the F804N bulkhead cap. The map light and a small toggle switch will be attached to the mounting plate which will be screwed to the bulkhead cap. This will allow easy access for any maintenance issues in the future. Pretty slick idea—thanks Bill!
