My front stick clears the instrument panel by 3/8”, but does not clear the forward brace. I posted a question on VAF and several other builders reported that the elevator stops are contacted before the stick reaches the brace, so I will leave the length as is. I cut another 1.7” off of the rear stick—total cut of is 5.7”—I think this shoud be enough to clear the back of the front seat. I received some switches from ACS today, so spent the rest of my time changing them out. The Infinity comes with a flap swith this center off, momentary down, and up. I am not planning on a limit switch for the flaps so I changed the stick switch out to center off, momentary down and momentary up. Ground down a 5/16” socket to make a “very thin walled” socket. I removed the flap switch and one other switch that was a push on, push off to a momentary push switch (for a/p disconnect). Clipped the wires off of the old switches and soldered them to the new switches. Reinstalled the switches and checked the wiring with an ohm meter to make sure everything wired properly.
