Brief Description: Install distribution hub, power terminal on VP-X
Part II. I Installed a 5 port serial distribution hub on the right side of the fuse just forward of the fresh air duct for the GIB. I cut some short pieces of pneumatic line to use as stand offs in order to keep the back of the board from shorting against the fuse skin. I will use this distribution hub to connect pitch servo, roll servo and the ADAHRS unit. From this hub, I can go forward with only one set of wires instead of 3 sets. I will do the same with the nav/strobe lights when I reach that point. I stripped about a ¼” insulation from the #6 power wire that runs to the VP-X. Crimped a terminal lug to the end, heated the lug with a torch and ran solder into the connection. Then connected the wire to the VP-X. Also added an adel clamp to the conduit that runs from the tail carrying the trim wires.
