Brief Description: ADAHRS Mount-2, Front floor mod
Last trip into the tunnel (I hope). I hooked up the pneumatic lines to the ADAHRS unit as well as the Skyview network cable. Still need to attach the OAT probe and wire, but I can reach in from the tail to make that connection. I installed the rear baggage floor as well as the front & rear seat floors. I had to notch the rear floor where some pneumatic line (which houses the flap wire) passes thru the longeron. I wanted to check wiring runs as well as location for the possibility of one more conduit for future use. While I had the floors in, I wanted to make a slight modification to the front floors—saw this mod on Michael Elliott’s web log. The front floor fits under the control mount-which means anytime you want to remove the front floor, the bolts attaching the control mount must be removed. A solution is to remove each corner of the front floor and attach the control mount to the floor with some #8 screws. I laid three holes in the control mount, and drilled them to #40. Installed the floor and control mount, then match drilled thru the mount into the floor. Opened these holes up to #19, removed the floor and drilled for nutplates.
