The canopy was stuck pretty well, but after a bit of tugging it popped open. I removed the skirts and moved them to the work bench. The clay dam stuck to the inside of the skirts but was easily removed. I cleaned up the skirts, and lightly sanded the new micro. I mixed up another batch of resin/flox and a small amount of micro. I filled in the area between were the “liquid shim” ended and the edge of the backing plate. I cut a paint stir stick to the width of the channel and taped it up with packing tape before adding it to the slide rail channel. Tomorrow I’ll sand all of this smooth and hope to call it done.
