Short session tonight. I marked the edges of the cutout to provide a 5/8” overlap on each side and a ¾” overlap on the top and bottom per Duckwork’s instructions. Fit the plexi over the wing and traced the outline. Taped up the inside and outside of the lens, then cut almost to the line with a dremel cutoff wheel. I used a fine grit on the belt sander to finish up to the line. Still need to round the corners and sand edges with very fine sandpaper.
