One hour in the shop—sure not much progress to show for the time spent. I drilled a ¼” hole in the bulkhead just to the left of the VS spar. Then I removed the VS. I drilled a hole in the deck plate near where my conduit exits from the front carrying, among other things, the wire for the tail light/strobe. Spent a lot of time figuring just where I wanted to penetrate the bulkhead just forward of the bulkhead that the VS spar bolts onto. Finally drilled a hole—location should work. Deburred the holes and installed small rubber grommets. Pulled the light wire thru. I glued a nylon block (for a tie wrap) to the inside skin with some amazing goop.
