Spent a good bit time cleaning up the sanding dust from the last session—only left about 30 minutes for actual build time. I intended to get the HS tip drilled tonight, just didn’t have time. I checked clearance between the swinging weight and the HS and found I needed more clearance. Filed the HS until I had the required 1/8” gap. Then I laid out holes in the skin used to attach the tips. I center punched for the holes and used my Whitney punch to create the holes. The Whitney punch is one of my favorite tools—probably 30 some years old, but still works good as new.
