Mounted the right elevator, and using the nylon bushing as a guide, I drilled the pilot hole thru the horn. Removed the elevator and used several drill bits to step the hole up to a size D, then used a ¼” reamer to finish the hole. Attached the elevator to the stabilizer, inserted the bolt thru the center bearing. Elevator swings freely. Went thru the same exercise with the left elevator up to the point of opening the hole in the horn to accept the bolt. Will finish that tomorrow.
