Brief Description: Elevator-Prep for trailing edge bend
Just about ready to bend the trailing edges of both skins and noticed that I had circled 8 rivet locations (4 on top, 4 on bottom) where the 606 rear spar lays inside the left skin. I got to wondering how I could dimple the skin after the trailing edge was bent. Couldn’t find anything in the manual regarding this. SoI clecoed the 606 to the top skin and match drilled only the end 4 holes. I removed the 606, clecoed to the bottom skin and match drilled the other 4 holes. Removed the 606 and deburred the holes. Then I used the DRDT-2 to dimple 8 holes in the skin.
