Brief Description:  Roll servo, snorkel, intersection fairings

I installed pins into the D-sub connector for the roll servo and powered up the Dynon—sure enough, it found the missing servo. After this check, I re-assembled the housing for the D-sub—done! I removed the snorkel/air filter assembly and connected the wire to the starter. I had unhooked it long ago as a safety precaution. I had previously taped over the inlet between the snorkel and the fuel injection servo to keep the engine sealed up as best I could. I removed the tape, installed a gasket and bolted the snorkel to the servo unit. I used blue loc-tite on the threads and also used star lockwashers. I installed the filter leaving the plastic wrapper in place—secured the hold down brackets with clecoes for now. Next, I began work on the intersection fairing on the left side. The RV-Bits fairing is not designed for Grove gear, so it will have to be modified to fit over the larger gear brackets. I cut two holes where the bolt heads contacted the fairing—next session, I’ll trim some more to make room for the brackets, then it will be time to lay up some glass. I suppose the wheels are on to stay, so I installed cotter pins thru the axles and bent them over.
