Brief Description:  Front baffle seals-1

Work continues on the front baffle seals—very slowly and with much gnashing of teeth and many choice words. I just about have the seals for the front done, but looks like I will need to glass in the inboard sections of the upper ramps. If I had positioned them an additional one inch inward, the seals would have covered without issue. As it is, there is a small gap where the ramp meets the upper cowl—perfect to spill air outside the pressure cowl. I also have some issues with the rear corners where the sides and the rear seals meet. The seals tend to hump up there and it makes it almost impossible to get the upper cowl to set down in back. I had the upper cowl on and off at least half a dozen times today trying to sort this out—these baffles and seals have become somewhat of a royal pain!
