I have two lights in the panel—red and green. The red light is for low oil pressure and the green is to indicate when the boost pump is on. I ran a wire from the green light across the lower portion of the panel and down through the gear tower. It comes out the same grommet where the boost pump wires exit. I thought it would be a simple matter to connect to the same post as the positive wire that runs the pump—well, nothing simple about it. I could reach the top terminal, however the positive terminal was on the bottom of the pump. To access it, I had to remove fuel lines, remove the filter, remove the cover plate and finally remove the pump itself. I connected the new wire to the same post as the positive wire using a ring terminal. Then I had to reassemble the fuel pump, mounts and lines. Would have been much easier to just splice into the wire between the pump and the power source. I then ran a ground wire from the “forrest of tabs” to the light. I am waiting on a 4 connector Molex terminal before I solder the wires to the light.
