I've spent a lot of pondering time on this canopy, and only a little actual working time. After sanding down the canopy I reapplied cloh and resin and sanded. I did many cycles of sanding and reapplying resin. Finally I sanded the edge with 120 grit. When I pulled off the tape I was encouraged to fine a nice clean edge without cracks and gaps. This is good and done for now. When it gets painted it will get taped off and maybe a little more smoothing will happen with primer. But I'm calling the canopy done, finally.
