I spaced and put the plate nut on the wrong side of the spar. So I have to open up the skin and put them where they belong. I checked with Van's and there is no alternative. So I drilled out 60 flush rivets tonight. I first slightly punched the little divet in the top of the rivets. Then I made a slight indention with a very small steel drill. This was for the purpose of making the hole right in the center. Then I drilled each one with the 3/32 drill, popped off the mfg heads, pushed out the shop head and wa-la. Done in 30 minutes. And not one hole got damaged.
