Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer Plastic Tip 3
I match drilled the plastic tip. Then enlarged the holes to 1/8. No photos but the following was done:
1) counter sink the holes in plastic tip 2) dimple holes in HS 3) make back strap of aluminum for inside surface of plastic tip 4) glue aluminum strip in place 5) clecoed on the tip
checked for clearance with the elevators. It is suppose to be 1/8 inch. Mine is a little tiight.
checked plastic tip fit for coverage of elevator. It is okay, but the elevator tip seems fatter then the HS plastic tip.
