Brief Description:  Calibrating fuel level, looking for leaks, part 1

My brother-in-law Tony Malley helped me calibrate the left and right wing fuel levels in the Dynon Skyview EMS, and helped drain each tank. We worked the left wing first, drained it, then the right wing. First we added fuel to the tank 2 gallons at a time: Each time, I hit a button on the Skyview EMS calibration page so it kept track of the amount of fuel while registering the voltage on the fuel sensor's resistor-type pickup. When the tank was full and the calibration was complete, I then disconnected the fuel source line on the engine's fuel injection servo. We pumped the fuel from the tank with the boost pump out that disconnected line until no more would pump. The remaining fuel amounts to unuseable fuel.

See part 2 for a problem we encountered with the right tank....
