Brief Description: Rewiring the flap position sensor
As I was removing the panels from the baggage compartment of weighing the aircraft, I accidentally pulled the flap position sensor's wires out of the cheap little Molex connector I had used to attach them. I hate Molex, so I ramped up to a 4-pin round connector. I happened to have one designed as a bulkhead pass-through.
This works much better, and I think will do a better job of securing the wiring. I wrapped both sides with spiral nylon wrap to protect the wiring. I think I'll use zip ties on each end to give it added stability.l
