Brief Description: Safety tape, stall warning, wing root fairings
I took time to knock a few odds n ends. I saw this high-strength safety tape at Home Depot Aviation Supply, so I appled it to the gas shocks holding up the canopy. I think it looks good, and helps ensure nobody smacks the strut with their foot while entering/exiting the aircraft (I hope).
Since the Dynon Skyview system features Angle of Attack, I removed the stall warning sensor from the left wing. I filled the holes with microfiber/epoxy, covered that with a non-stick mylar sheet, and taped it all in place to set. A few days later, I pulled the tape and mylar and sanded it all down. Once it's painted, it should be pretty invisible.
I also went ahead and installed the wingroot fairings just to keep the areas clean.
