OK, this is the first of several painful postings regarding the my effort to finish the cowlings' surface finish. This is a liberal application of thinned epoxy per the Van's directions. I added white dye to help start covering that ugly Van's pepto pink. After this cured, I sanded... ...and sanded... ...and sanded... ...then brushed on a second coat of epoxy, this time not thinned.
