Still waiting for the Bonaco brake/fuel lines, so I moved on to fitting/mounting the horizontal stab to the aft fuselage. Col Rich Donnelly dropped by to help.
Started by fabricating the two shims that mount under the forward spar, plus the bracket that bolts the vertical stabilizer to the aft deck.
Next we measured the drill points for the forward spar, and clamped the horizontal stabilizer to the aft fuselage deck. We measured the stab's forward corners to identical reference points on the forward fuselage. Once aligned, we clamped it down and drilled the 3/16" holes.
