Brief Description:  Match-drilling the elevator horns

A buddy gave me some scrap hardwood, which I used to line up the pilot holes in the elevator control horns. First I sanded the block's sides down to a thinkness of 0.865 inches (matching the distance between the two control horns). Then I drilled a #30 pilot hole through the block exactly perpendicular to the block's surface. THen, with the elevator's counterweight horns clamped flush to the horizontal stabilator, we clamped the block between the horns with the pilot holes aligned. Finally, Houston drilled through the right horn's and wood block's pilot holes to match-drill the left control horn.

Nice work, Houston.
