Really exciting but scary day seting the first flush rivets on the RV8! Had to skip a couple of steps on the horizontal stab spar because I have had to order the longeron yoke from Isham Tools to get sufficient clearance to set the spar rivets. They could be set manually but my skills on standard rivets are not goode nough yet and the squeezer should give near perfect results for every one on such an important part.
Fortunately reading ahead it is necessary to set flush rivets on the nose riv of HS707 on both sides so I followed these instructions. Worked out well and measured every rivet to ensure that it was within tolerance when set and happily all were!
