1. Located skin protection plates, based on impact location of balance arm end. 2. Drilled rivet pattern around edge of plates, with #40 bit. 3. Separated plates (one is for upper skin), and taped on in previously marked location. 4. Back drilled with #40 bit, clecoing in place. 5. Opened rivet holes with #30 bit. 6. Removed plate, deburred, degreased, and primed with zinc chromate. 7. Clecoced plate back in place. 8. Placed vertical stops in front of leading edge of wing. 9. Elevated rear edge. 10. Riveted stiffner and skin protection plate in place with A4 rivets.
