Brief Description:  Cut and drilled upper port stiffners

My goal in this approach was to keep from removing the lower wing skin. I succeeded!

1. Placed upper port wing skin on wing, and clecoed leading edge in place.
2. Traced rib locations on underside of skin.
3. Removed skin & turned over.
4. Drew mounting line for stiffners per dwg.
5. Cut lengths of "L" angle to fit on stiffner line between ribs.
6. Marked stiffners by position.
7. filed & cleaned up stiffners.
8. Marked, punched, and driilled end rivet holes on stiffners.
9. Back drilled end mounting holes of stiffners into appropriate locations on skin, drilling one end, clecoing, then drilling other end.
10. Removed stiffners and clecoes.
11. Turned skin over, and clecoed leading edge.
12. For each stiffner:
A. Mounted underneath, using end rivet holes.
B. Verified length fit, and shortened as required.
C. Using a rivet fan between the end holes, established appropriate pitch with center punch.
D. Starting next to one end of a stiffner, drilled and clecoed holes with #40 bit.
E. Again starting at the end of a stiffner, removed cleo, opened rivet hole with #30 bit, and installed a cleco.
13. Removed all clecos and stiffners.
