Two front seat panels must be installed; the procedure for each is similar.
1. Identify "no rivet" area on front edge of seat panel, where spar has no rivet surface. 2. Mark rivet lines on front(top) and aft(bottom) edges of seat panel. 3. Drill end rivet holes with #40 bit. 4. Using rivet fan, set pitch 30mm intermediate rivet locations. 5. Drill pilot holes with #40 bit. 6. Position seat panel in aircraft, and clamp in place. 7. Back drill fore and aft rivet holes with #40 bit, clecoing as holes are drilled. 8. Locate existing rivet hole in gear mount that will pass through seat panel side flange, and back drill with #20 bit for A5 rivet. 9. Remove seat panel. 10. Mark rivet line on side flange. 11. Drill end holes with #40 bit. 12. Using rivet fan, set pitch 25 mm intermediate rivet locations. 13. Drill pilot holes with #40 bit. 14. Replace and cleco in aircraft. 15. Backdrill pilot holes into side of aircraft and gear attachment with #40 bit, clecoing holes as completed. 16. Open flange holes, fore and aft hole in seat panel with #20 bit for A5 rivets.
