Brief Description:  Corrected rear canopy frame installation

The rear canopy frame has been a nightmare. Aside from holding the canopy up structurally, it is trying to provide the transition between the curve of the canopy, and that of the fuselage. I was never able to get the ends of the frame straight, so they would fit in the cup in the rail. I could get one end secured, but not the other. This is my fix for the problem.

1) Cut rear canopy frame 6C3-1 flush with the point at which it should slide into the frame cup.
2) Cut a piece of the same size tubing to a length that would fit in the frame cup, and adequate for a splice in 6C3-1.
3) Slit the side of the splice tubing just fabricated, so it could be collapsed into a fit fit inside the rear canopy rail.
4) Deburred and cleaned up.
5) Cut a piece of tubing to side inside the rail cup.
6) Deburred and cleaned up.
7) Forced the splice inside the new tubing and the rear frame.
8) Drilled rivet holes for 3 A4 rivets in the rail cup and the frame, for a total of 6 rivets.
9) Riveted six places with A4 rivets.

The frame is now securely connected to the rail.
