Another nightmare task, because it is necessary to compress the gas spring, while aligning the front rivet holes, and slipping a bolt, with two internal washers, through the mounting holes.
I enlisted my wife for this task. We finally got the starboard bolt in, and used that alignment to do the port side.
The side cover, 6C3-6 simply rubs too closely against the fuselage side, as the photos show. I added a piece of plastic U-channel, and will fix the paint in final paint.
