Brief Description: Started installation of lower fuselage access door
1. Cut door hinge to fit cutout in access door 6B3-8. 2. Cut center pin of hinge one hinge width. 3. Punched and drilled #40 hole in each end of hinge for pin retention. 4. Saftied each end. 5. Positioned hinge on access door. 6. Back drilled end holes into hinge with #40 bit, and clecoed. 7. Back drilled intervening holes with #40 bit. 8. Clecoed alternate holes. 9. Opened holes with #30 bit. 10. Deburred holes, cleand and primed hinge. 11. Cleoed hingee to door, and riveted with A4 rivets. 12. Positioned door in fuselage bottom, and centered side to side. 13. Taped door in place with masking tape. 14. Back drilled through hinge with #20 bit, and clecoed. 15. Removed door, and deburred holes. 16. Clecoed door hinge in place. 17. Retaped back and side of door into positoin. 18. Back drilled pilot holes in door into fuselage bottom with #40 bit. 19. Opened door, and installed black rebberoid closeout over hinge. 20. Suspended installation, pending arrival of nutplates.
