Brief Description: locate and drill horizontal stabilizer attachment
|

1. Positioned horizontal stabilizer on aft fuselage per dwg 6S4.
2. Interatively leveled side-side and fore3-aft, while checking for equal tip distance to front center of fuselage.
3. When all criteria were met, clamped horizontal stabilizer in place.
4. Located and pilot drilled rear spar attach 6T2-3 to HT attachment bracket 6B1-8, on both sides, with a #40 bit.
5. Clecoed.
6. Opened holes with #20 bit and clecoed. Holes will later need to be opened for AN3 bolts.
7. Rechecked alignment of horizontal stabilizer.
8. Located and pilot drilled front spar attach to HT attachment bracket 6B1-9, on both sides, using a #40 bit.
9. Clecoed.
10. Opened holes with #20 bit, and clecoed. Holes will later need to be opened for AN3 bolts.
11. Rechecked alignment of horizontal stabilizer.
