Brief Description: Began installation of magneto replacements
The Lightspeed magneto replacements arrived last night.
1) Inventoried shipment; spade lugs appear to be missing. May not be a problem, as I have some. 2) Studied installation manual. 3) Installed covers for magneto openings. A) Coated edge of cover with permatex, per installation manual ("use liquid sealant") B) Slipped in opening. C) Installed existing magneto hold down plate, with flats, locks, and a nut. D) Torqued per limits talble.
