Brief Description: Installed Carby fittings & heat control
The carby controls need a hard point to insure the cable doesn't slide around when activated. I fabricated an arm that affixes to the oil tank.
1) Cut attachment plate from aluminum.. 2) Cut copper arm from scrap. 3) Bent to fit, clkeaned up, primed, painted. 4) Connected to Engine with oil tank bolt.
All three of the carby controls (Mixture, heat, throttle) needed a specialized fitting to accept the wire from the cockpit controls. In the process of installing the fittings, I broke the mixture control, and had to order another.
1) Adel clamped the heat control to the carby heat box, using the hard point provided. 2) Cut cable to length. 3) Ran control wire through fitting, and tightened in place.
