Today I tested all of my engine senor wires. I wanted to get this done before I put on the boot cowl. I made up a couple of test wire with spades on one end and alligator clips on the other. I am not really ready to route the wires in and around the engine but I wanted to make sure the wires were installed to the correct pins. Everything was wired correctly, all of the temperature probes read about 61 degrees which was the temperature in the garage at the time and I could get movement by putting a heat gun on them. I tested each probe just to make sure I did not have a bad one.
I then temporarily hooked up the other pressure and flow sensors just to make sure there was connectivity, can’t really get any flow or pressure with the engine off but they did read zero which is a good sign.
I hooked up the manifold pressure sensor and it read 30.2 which was a correct reading for an engine that is off with a barometric pressure of 30.25”. I am satisfied enough that I will give the under panel stuff the once over and get ready to rivet on the skin.
