I came up with and idea for the equipment cooling after thinking about it for the last few day. The plan is to put the fan on the aft wall of the forward baggage compartment and build a plenum out of fiberglass to route the air to 3 holes in the baggage area wall. I will use some PEX elbows attached to the baggage wall to route the air to the instruments. The one in the picture is brass but they make them in black plastic and that is what I will use to reduce the weight.
I made a rough mock up of my idea. I need to get something better than the Styrofoam to use as a mold for the plenum, I am thinking a block of balsa or maybe some clay or combination of the two.
This shows the mock up, cardboard is the baggage wall; the white Styrofoam is the plenum. I will have to find a way to attach the elbows to the wall.
