Brief Description:  Part 1: Removed panel, lace tied harness

Today was a good day because it is moving forward and not back. I tested the radios one last time and convinced myself it will be fine. I then removed the main panel hopefully until final installation. I did the removal sitting in the plane, I wanted to confirm that I designed things so this would be a fairly easy task and it was. I did learn some areas I can make modifications to that will make removal a little easier. After the panel was out I organized the wires and then started tying them up. One little hiccup I found while sitting in the plane, I had set the rudder pedals in to check on something else and discovered that the nut that sticks out from the pedal hinge point interferes with one of the nut plates I have on the baggage wall. It will take some time but I set things up so I can remove the wall, which I will have to do to replace the nut plates, I am going to use a flat heads on the cockpit side of the baggage wall, should have done this in the first place but did not as I wanted to be able to remove items in the electronic bay without having to get at both sides of the wall. Oh well.
