Brief Description:  Canopy stand

Today I made some tall saw horses for the canopy. I think they might be just a bit tall, but I did not want to make them too short and then have to stoop under the canopy. Once the canopy is fit to the frame I will final cut the legs to a good workable height. I then carefully unpacked the canopy from the crate along with the tires and nose gear leg. All of the fiberglass parts are left in the crate until needed, the canopy skirt will be the first thing I need of the fiberglass parts but that is a few weeks away. I have to get the canopy trimmed and then glued before I can fit the skirts.

I bought a multi-tool from Harbor Freight and tried it out by cutting a section of the canopy flange off; it is slow and seems to melt the Plexiglas, more tool test tomorrow.
