I used the RTV to attach the static ports, some use rivets but talking with the guy at SafeAir1 RTV or ProSeal should work just as good, his have been on with RTV and have stayed on for 5 years so I will give it a try as well. After completing the RTV process on both wings decided to do something on my list of stragglers, these are things that I have put off for one reason or another. I riveted on the two strips of plastic that act as guides for the rear throttle. After riveting them on a painted them so the rivets don’t stand out so much. It was now time to go to an EAA chapter meeting so I called it a day.
