I wanted to finish up the rudder pedals so I can get them sent out to be anodized. I was at Harbor Freight and I picked up a disk sander set for the die grinder, the pads are only ¾” so they should work out nicely working around the rudder pedals. I used the fine pad (green) and sanded the pedals then I hit them with a green hand pad to take out the swirl marks the grinder pad left. I then hit them with the bead blaster; they look much better now much more uniform. The bead blasting gives the pedal a satin sort of sheen, I am not sure you can tell from the pictures.
